As a dog owner, I found it surprisingly difficult to locate self-service dog wash stations. After muddy forest walks, trips to the beach or travelling to unfamiliar areas, I'd often spend far too long searching Google Maps, Facebook pages and individual business websites, only to discover there wasn't one place that brought every dog wash together.
The idea: a dedicated dog wash directory
I realised there were hundreds of great dog wash locations, but they were incredibly difficult to discover. That's when I decided to build K9Wash, a dedicated platform that makes finding a self-service dog wash as easy as finding a petrol station or coffee shop. One map.
